When we send fine young men and women beyond the Forward Edge of the Battle Area (FEBA) in harm’s way, sometimes harm finds them instead.  When that happens, they deserve nothing less than the best medical care provided in the most expeditious manner possible.  Just as with major civilian trauma , that first crucial period of time following a soldier’s wounding is critical to their survival and recovery.

Reduction of time enroute to forward based facilities is desirable.  Transport to more capable facilities, in areas more remote from the battlefield, is even more important to increase the numbers of those we can save.  Hexplane is the aircraft that can make that happen.
